We have the best supporters!

After last night’s StarCraft carnage and now that the Stardust has settled (ha ha, fundraiser joke), it’s time to talk about how awesome you all are! You know already, of course, but you might not know you’re in good company.

If you follow the Fishery Team, you may have seen the update describing a few of the cool things that were made and donated by supporters who decided to share their creations with folks who will cherish them. We have a bunch of lovely Kingkiller themed art, a handmade Cthaeh quilt, and a massive 8×8 Tak set with four kinds of wood, copper inlay, and iron nails.

We’re also auctioning off another Tak board that was made and donated by a talented supporter, this one made of marble tile with a solid copper sheet for a base. One of our volunteers (Tracy, who armed us all with Nerf guns back in the day) sent us a Doctor Who quilt for auction, and it’s equal parts pretty and clever, which we guess makes it pretty clever, right? There’s also a cool painting from Desaturated Works and an amazing Brazen Gear plaque from Amber at Serpent’s Dance!

A bunch of other supporters donated rare books from their collections, adorable handmade penguin figurines, soft, thick Hogwarts house scarves, and Alyshondra sent us more of her geeky cross stitch! Most of the cool stuff you guys sent is in the Lottery Library for anyone to win, and a few of them are currently on auction (those four above). Big thank you to everyone who donated their precious collectibles and creations, and good luck to everyone who donates to win one of them!
