That's right, we're getting our ducks in a row (heh) and making sure everything is ready to go when the fundraiser launches in...less than two weeks... o_O
Now that Geeks Doing Good fulfillment is done and con season is winding down, it's time to gear up for our end-of-year fundraiser!
The fundraiser will come to a close on Monday, October 16, at noon CST. Everything ends, and we have to wrap it up so we can get the funds processed and sent to Mercy Corps. If you haven't contributed yet, please do, and if you wanted to kick in a few more dollars before we end the fundraiser, again, please do.
We're raising money for Mercy Corps' efforts to help Puerto Rico recover in the wake of Hurricane Maria. They're already on-site, and we have a couple stories from their team.
We'll be busy for the next few weeks, bouncing from con to con and helping get a couple thousand copies of the Name of the Wind 10th Anniversary Edition packed and shipped.
As we put the finishing touches on our booth at the Salt Lake Comic Con, we figured we should let you know where to find us!
