Gen Con is coming!

We had a great time at Gen Con last year, and this year promises to be even better! We have our own booth this year (we’re at booth #267, near our friends at Badali Jewelry!), and we’ve been talking with a bunch of folks about what else we can do.

Nicole, Janelle from Badali, and that Sam Sykes fellow

First of all, we’re going to have a table outside the Gen Con Writer’s Symposium again! Mark, Molly, and the rest of the Symposium folks are very cool, so we can’t wait to hang out with them again. If you’d like to swing by and chat about what we’re up to, what we have planned for the future, and what Pat should do for a stretch goal, stop by.

We’ll also be there for the Storium event this year, where you’ll have the opportunity to watch a team of fantasy writers as they write a story on the fly, and–here’s the best part–donate to Worldbuilders to change or influence the story! Last year’s story was hilarious, and involved bees, mad scientists, and a literal combination of the two. And butt jokes.

Stories? How about Storium? Delilah S. Dawson made Robin Hood hats.

Second, we’ve got something in the swag bag they hand out at the Concert Against Humanity! We can’t give you any specifics, but just the phrase “Concert Against Humanity” should be enough to get you to click that link and order tickets. Last year’s concert was about three weeks’ worth of entertainment crammed into a few hours, with comedy, music, and general weirdness. Don’t miss this show!

Concert. Against. Humanity. Aww, yis.

Third, we’ll be hanging out with some of our author friends again, and apart from enjoying the sort of crazy and inspired conversation you tend to get with authors, we’ll be asking a few of them to sign some stuff for this year’s lottery and future Tinker’s Packs Novelties deals.

Fourth and finally, we’re looking into having some of our favorite musicians stop by our booth in the Expo hall to meet folks, sign stuff, and generally be cool. More details as we iron them out!

Get your tickets, join us at Gen Con, and when you’re there, play ALL THE GAMES!
