Emerald City Comic Con is next week!

If you visited us last year at Emerald City Comic Con, you got the chance to talk to Anne and Brett, shop some of our merchandise, and watch Anne freak out over all the awesome cosplay. We had an absolute blast there!

This year we’ll have even more cool merchandise available, including books, t-shirts, mugs, pins, Draccus plushies, and honestly, more books. We’re really proud of the merchandise we carry, so we wanted to bring as much stuff as we could!

We’ll have t-shirts from Sex Criminals, Myke Cole, Kevin Hearne, Todd Lockwood, Rat Queens, Bitch Planet, Jim Butcher, and so many more. We’ll also have plenty of stuff from Pat’s Kingkiller Chronicle as well as his Princess books, because we like him too. If you can’t make it to Emerald City, everything will of course be available in the Tinker’s Packs!

We’d love to chat with you about all the cool stuff we’ve been up to, how fundraiser fulfillment is going, and what we have planned for 2018. Ask us about our favorite Heifer International programs. Talk to us about what Mercy Corps is doing in Puerto Rico and around the world. This is our favorite part of the job.

And Friday evening, after a crazy con day, join us for the Worldbuilders Party to play games with some awesome artists, authors, and creators, like Pat Rothfuss, Sam Sykes, Todd Lockwood, Katie Cook, Cat Rambo, Myke Cole, Kevin Hearne, Robin Hobb, Seanan McGuire, John Jackson Miller, Nika Harper, Mike Selinker, Delilah S. Dawson, Django Wexler, Kate Welsh, James Ernest, and more! All to raise money for charity.

We still have tickets available at the Worldbuilders Party page, and it’s really quite a chill event. Think of it as four hours of snacks and games with super-creative people who may just be responsible for the books, games, and media that happened to shape our lives. No big deal.

Honestly, it’s a very relaxed environment with the opportunity for some quality face time with some amazing people (celebrity guests and partygoers both—you guys are pretty exceptional and never sell yourselves short, okay?). Mingling is encouraged. Games, snacks, and drinks are provided. We’ll even have a raffle and a silent auction for some cool merchandise, books, and collectibles.

It is a ticketed event, but you don’t need a con badge to attend. And we use the money we raise during the party to support some awesome causes, so even if you don’t win your game, someone wins thanks to Heifer and Mercy Corps…and you.

It’s going to be a great party. It’s going to be a wonderful weekend. We know this because you guys will be there, and you are awesome people. We can’t wait to see you in person!
