The beat goes on…

Trina and Mindy have been tearing through the lottery prizes (not literally)! Check it out:

That’s about a third of the books, ready to pack.

Once these are all grouped and shrink-wrapped, we’ll bust out the games, and after that: packing and shipping!

They’re so happy.

So what’s the latest? Prizes are drawn! Part of the wrapping process here is matching names with prizes, so that legwork is done. We’ll be pulling and wrapping in waves, but so far things are going even faster than they did last year, and we were super happy with last year’s process. We’re actually getting good at this!

A few people have been asking if we publish a list of prize winners, or if we keep it a surprise. We actually keep it a surprise, for two reasons. First, we like surprises. They’re fun. Second, we don’t want to publicize names. A lot of our supporters are pretty low-key, and we know you value your privacy.

Having said all that, we do encourage folks to post photos of their lottery winnings on social media! We certainly can’t stop you, and it’s so much fun seeing your smiling faces, epic hauls, and pets. Nicole and Trina are partial to cats, and Amanda and Rachel are more dog people. The rest of us love any sort of non-human friends (even the plush friends), so there’s no bad decision here. If you get a mystery package from us in the mail, and you feel like telling the world, please post it on Facebook and Twitter, tagging us (WorldbuildersInc and Worldbuilders, respectively) so we can see!
