Spring, Chicks, and Trivia
Spring has finally hit Wisconsin!
The Worldbuilders team is just a little stoked that we can now leave the building without wearing 18 down-filled layers. And speaking of down, check out these little guys!
Maria got her annual shipment of chicks, and the whole team showed up to teach the little dudes how to drink. It was a blast.
Amanda made many friends.
Pat told them stories.
Oot helped a lot of them find water, food, and the heat lamps. He was very serious about it.
At the end of the day, Maria had 1,500 new fluffy friends all warm and cozy in their new home. And oh, the peeping! For only being a couple days old, they sure had a lot to say. Our ears were ringing when we left.
In Stevens Point, spring also means another tradition: The world’s largest trivia contest. Pat and Brett are on different teams, but rivalry between teams is a friendly one, so there shouldn’t be too much bloodshed. Also, Pat’s team is a little more serious than Brett’s, so there’s that.
If you’re interested, check out their website to see what it’s all about (there’s even a link there to the live stream if you want to listen in!). It’s a bizarre local tradition, to be sure, but a fun one if you’re willing to lose 54 nonstop hours of your life to answering obscure questions. May the odds be ever in our favor!!
