New refrigerator!
Okay, you guys. This is something probably only we care about, but you have no idea how excited we are.
When we moved into this office, we pretty much got whatever appliances were here, including a dubious old refrigerator that, honestly, did work. But not very well. And it was far from efficient. And since we’re encouraged to make food here (our lunches double as our employee meetings), a clean, roomy, power-efficient fridge would have been ideal.
Well, guess what we finally got!!
That’s right. Behold its majesty.
Strangely enough, it showed up on Earth Day, so that was a little appropriate. On top of that, Nicole took it upon herself to buy some cloth napkins for the office, since we already use cloth towels in the bathrooms that need to be laundered every week (she does that too). The new napkins are even Worldbuilders Red!
No, we don’t keep the napkins in the fridge, silly–it’s artsy presentation. We keep them in the microwave like everyone else. Mmmm….warm napkins.
It’s weird how we ended up getting a little Earthy this week. Go figure. But really, the less we have to fill our garbage bin, the better. Nobody wants to have to carry that out to the curb every week anyway.
But the fridge. It’s so shiny! We love it with a fiery passion. Come on, look:
It’s like it has the future inside it. The future!
And that future is full of promise. The promise of delicious food and productive employee meetings. And food.
We just had to share. Seriously, apart from the fact that it’s less likely we’ll contract botulism from this new fridge, we can almost feel our electric bill breathing a sigh of relief.
