Did you miss the Tak Kickstarter? Nope!

If you missed the Tak Kickstarter, or need even more Tak in your life, we have a bunch of Tak goodies available for pre-order at the Tinker’s Packs!

The Classic set is your one stop solution.

The Classic set is the standard retail version of the game, and includes a 6×6 hybrid board as well as 62 wooden pieces, which is enough to play up to a 6×6 game. Even better, the game board designed by Echo Chernik is double-sided: the “court style” side is elegant and lovely, while the “tavern style” side is a simpler, everyman’s design.

Need more pieces?

The Crazy Martin is intended as an expansion for the Classic Set, giving you enough pieces to play an 8×8 game, if you’re crazy enough (see what we did there?) to try such a thing. This expansion set doesn’t come with a board or a set of rules, but the pieces are the same size as the Classic Set pieces, so you can almost double your piece count. And you don’t even need a board, but rules are good. Speaking of which:

How about deluxe rules?

This book is going to be awesome. Written by Pat and James Ernest, and illustrated by Nate Taylor, this 64-page hardcover book will explain Tak’s origins and history, as well as regional variations and strategy tips. What’s more, the back cover of the book is itself a 5×5 game board, letting you easily play on the go! This isn’t a replacement of the rules, and you don’t need to buy it–think of it as a deluxe expansion. The rules themselves are already available online. You could buy this book and a Tavern set of pieces and be ready for a game of Tak anywhere.

There’s so much more!

Pictured above are the Tavern Set of smaller, more portable pieces for a 5×5 game, the Cloth Board, which is a handy bandanna with the Tak board printed on it, the beautiful Arcanist’s Board if you’re so inclined, a Collector Coin that you can use in place of a board (it just marks the center point, and that’s all you need), and if you need a break from Tak itself, how about a Tak-themed game of Pairs?

If you want to see ALL the Tak items we have for pre-order, check out the full collection on one page.

If you want to actually see the game in action, we got you covered:

Still not enough? Let the games continue!

Speaking of games, we’re going to be at Gen Con again this year! Stop by booth #267 and say hi! We’ll have more information on our Gen Con schedule soon (including the Writer’s Symposium!), but we figured we’d give you guys a heads up.
