Gen Con is just around the corner!

It’s that time already? This is so cool! Gen Con is sort of like Christmas around here–the fun, the spectacle, the friends, and the snow!

….sorry, no snow. We’re getting carried away. But if you want to find out what we’re up to, here’s a quick update!

We will be in the exposition hall in Booth 361, which is an awesome corner booth just up the street from our friends at Badali Jewelry! Jenny has pulled out all the stops and designed a fun new booth that actually will let us display all our cool stuff and still have the chance to talk with you when you stop by. We will have a bunch of merchandise and a few pre-order opportunities from Bitch Planet, Mary Robinette Kowal, Pat Rothfuss, Jim Butcher, Holly Black, Myke Cole, Sex Criminals, Rat Queens, Kevin Hearne, Richard Kadrey, Todd Lockwood, Sam Sykes, and, well, ourselves! We’ll be bringing Tak as well, just in case you need to get a few games going. There has been much planning, so this year we will operate like a well-oiled machine!

This was our Gen Con meeting this morning, even though we have a legit meeting room. Oh well. At least Bag attended.

Friday night from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Worldbuilders Party will light up the JW Marriott. There are still tickets left for some of the gaming tables, so if you’d like to join us and help raise some money, please do! So many games, so much awesome conversation, cool silent auction items, lots of snacks, and plenty of opportunities for photos and mingling await you! And if you’re a little worn out from the first couple days at Gen Con, no problem–we have plenty of games for anyone who doesn’t feel like making the rounds and chatting with celebrities. You’re more than welcome to get right to the games, or see what we’ve snuck into your free swag bag.

Hopefully Myke Cole will be there again to help us move all the swag bags…

We look forward to Gen Con every year. It’s a lot of work, and by the time we get home we’re absolutely exhausted, but we love it for one big reason: we get to hang out with you. Since we’re internet-based, we never get to see you in person and have a nice, face-to-face conversation. So please swing by and say hi, let us know what you’re up to, how you’re doing, and…where we may have heard of you. 😉
