We’re at GenCon!

The Worldbuilders team is currently at GenCon!

If you want to see a little of what we’re up to, we’ll be at the Storium Liveevent tonight from 6 – 8pm in ICC room 245. What’s Storium? It’s an multiplayer online game that combines the best elements of role playing games and storytelling. Think of a more open-world, flexible, creative Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book with immediate feedback and top-notch storytelling. Seriously! How cool is that? They had a very successful Kickstarter campaign to help them set up the web-based interface for the game.

Admission to Storium Live is $4, and the event will feature authors Chuck Wendig, Sam Sykes, Delilah S. Dawson, and Stephen Blackmoore playing a live version of the Storium game. In the normal game, one player is the narrator, and the other players are characters in the story. The narrator weaves the story, creating complications and challenges that the characters have to overcome by writing their way out.

During the live event, everyone in the audience will have the opportunity to buy plot complications, stepping in for the narrator as they see fit. The best part: all proceeds are going to Worldbuilders! Thanks guys!! If you want to attend, feel free to register online for guaranteed seating. If there are still seats available at the event, admission is still two “generic” tickets (that $4, you know).
