Tables and Teams

Game On!

We’re amazed at the beautiful work Wyrmwood Gaming Supplies produces, from dice towers and trays to card cases and, oh yeah, some special editions of a sweet little game called Tak. Cheapass Games made a beautiful game, and in turn, Wyrmwood makes the game beautiful. Most of their products are lovingly designed with ingenious folding mechanisms and an astounding attention to detail.

When Wyrmwood announced they were getting into the boutique gaming furniture business, we may have started drooling a little in anticipation. If they took so much care in their smaller products, we couldn’t even dream what they’d do with a full blown gaming table.

Then they donated a Prophecy Table to our lottery.

We wont’ lie–we’re going to be super jealous of whoever wins this.

With a two sided playing surface, an internal mechanical lift, and the dual rail magnetic game accessory system, the Prophecy sets a new standard for gaming tables. As a true heirloom quality piece, the Prophecy table is built by hand in the US by master craftsmen and their apprentices. And it shows.

Apart from the table itself, Wyrmwood is including up to $500 worth of rail accessories of the winner’s choice (in matching Black Walnut, this would be roughly 4 cup holders and 4 component collectors). On top of that, they’re offering a $500 shipping credit–and an incredibly generous supporter has offered to cover the remaining cost of shipping this item to the winner. This table would be fulfilled at the end of May 2019.

These tables sold crazy fast, and the whole package is valued at $10,500. One of you can win it–just donate at least $10 per chance and make sure you select “Games” for one of the prize types you’re interested in. And we absolutely must see photos when you get your table so we can envy you appropriately.

Strong Bad is BACK

The Homestar Runner folks are joining us again with their own Strong Bad Team Page! They have a bunch of cool extras you could win on top of all the amazing stuff we currently have in our Lottery Library. Their basic lottery prizes include signed posters, Homestar mugs, figurines, the Strong Bad Sings CD, t-shirts and more. When their page reached $2,500, they added an original, signed Cornucopicron illustration, and they just passed $5,000, so they added one of the last existing Kick the Cheat plushies into the mix.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal

If you don’t read SMBC, you should. Go on, we’ll wait.

Now that  you are familiar with the awesomesauce that’s squirted on the burger of life, you’ll be pretty darn stoked to donate via their Team Page! Just like the Homestar page, you could win all sorts of cool stuff on top of the main Worldbuilders lottery, as they’re offering signed copies of SMBC print collections, and for added mind-blowitude, one donor will get to be tuckerized into the strip! Imagine your face (or that of someone you love/and/or/hate) appearing in an upcoming Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal. We know, right?

There are bunch of other teams raising money for everything from our StarCraft Tournament to Charlotte’s elementary school’s filmmaking club. Take a look at the team pages to see who’s doing what. You might be able to increase your lottery options, help someone reach their holiday goal of raising money for Heifer, or give an advantage to one of our StarCraft teams.

No matter what, you’ll be entered into our main lottery, and Heifer International gets all the money we raise. We can’t think of a better team to be on!
