One Million Dollars

You are all fantastic people.

We had one week to raise over $200,000 to reach our goal of $715,000, which would unlock an anonymous donor’s pledge to kick in $285,000 to bring us to an even million dollars for Heifer International.

In half that time, we reached our goal. That million dollars is going to Heifer, and it’s all thanks to you. We organize the fundraiser and contact our sponsors for cool lottery prizes, but it’s you guys who donate money, like, share, and retweet our posts to spread the word, tell co-workers and family members about us, watch Pat’s Twitch channel, root for teams in our StarCraft Tournament, and drive this fundraiser to be the awesome juggernaut it is.

All this money is going to Heifer to help families feed their kids and send them to school, start women’s groups, improve farming techniques and livestock care, bring clean water and clean-burning fuel into their communities…and this is all because of you.

Even though we hit our goal crazy fast, the fundraiser will still run through the 12th, so there’s still time to join us and do some good. And right now? It’s celebration time!

You guys are the best supporters we could ever wish for, and we want you to feel proud that we’ve hit this goal. You’re going to help so many people, and we’re honored to have you with us.
