Cards Against Humanity

You may have heard of an offensive (and ridiculously funny) game called Cards Against Humanity. It’s one of those party games where people reeeeally don’t want to play it, but once the game starts, they just can’t help themselves. The Worldbuilders team has introduced this game to their friends and family, and trust us, there’s nothing weirder than the first round of CAH with your parents…except maybe playing it with your grandparents.

In a delicious irony that we’re sure the CAH team appreciate but don’t advertise, they’re actually really nice people. We had the chance to hang out with them at GenCon this year, and all of them are smart, funny, genuinely nice people who want to help make the world a better place. And when they say “help,” they mean it!

Maria and Pat got CAH in touch with a bunch of our fantasy author friends (Neil Gaiman, Kevin Hearne, Martha Wells, Wesley Chu, Sam Sykes, Myke Cole, Jacqueline Carey, Sherwood Smith, Elizabeth Bear, Laura Anne Gilman, Delilah Dawson, and so many more) to put together a fantasy-themed expansion pack for the main Cards Against Humanity game. It’s been really hard not to talk about it, but we can now–and feast your eyes on the shining result:

Glorious, isn’t it?

You can buy the Fantasy Pack directly from the Cards Against Humanity store, and 100% of the money raised comes to Worldbuilders. We’re speechless. And during our fundraiser, we’re passing all that money right on to Heifer International. We’re not saying this will alleviate the guilt of playing this game and laughing the entire time, but it feeds people. That’s a good thing.

We love Cards Against Humanity. The game, and the folks behind it.
